 Located on the Sheepscot River, about an hour beyond Portland, Wiscasset is a charming town with roots in export trade and ship building. There are many fine examples of Georgian, Federal, Greek Revival and Victorian architecture. The town has been, and continues to be, a great destination for finding antiques.
